Joy
This is a card I made for my dear friend Carol. I used the grapevine wreath from Obsession Impressions and then a little tulip stamp from my stash. I cut out the tulips which took some time. However I think it was worth it. There is a ribbon on the card too but hard to see from the scan. I decided this card would be sent to someone who would appreciate all the cutting.

Friends
This has been a hectic week. I really don't know where the time goes. Anyway I made this for the Less is More Challenge and then found out I was too late. So thought I would post it anyway. The stamp and sentiment are $1 stamp I picked up somewhere. Thought it was cute but never used it until now. Colored with Copics.

Week 41 One Layer - Leaves
This weeks challenge is from http://simplylessismoore.blogspot.com/ I don't often get around to doing their challlenges but want to participate more. They are always fun. Here is my card. I used Stampin'Up for the image. The sentiment is by Northwoods. It is embossed with autumn powder from my stash. This card is not an original. I don't remember where I saw the original. Sorry. My friend Kathy made it and I had to copy it. Hope you like it. Thanks for taking a peek.

LIM #35 The Color of your Eyes. / OLW 67 Thoughtsgiving
I have missed a couple of weeks. Doing other projects. So thought I would do two challenges at one time.
The first one is from http://simplylessismoore.blogspot.com/. This challenge is to make a card using the color of your eyes. As you can see mine are blue.
The second challenge is from http://stylesink.ca/ This week, the challenge is to make and send/deliver a “Thinking of You” card to someone who is struggling with any kind of battle
I used an old Stampin'Up set and the words are from Annette Allen Watkins. Another old stamp. I am still not managing the photography very well as the card stock was white. But is still doesn't look too bad.

OLW-64 Shades of Autumn
This week's challenge is from http://stylesink.ca/. Thank you Jennifer.
So, the challenge this week is to make a card where the sentiment is either the focus of the card or shares the focus equally with the image. Here is my card. The sentiment is by Stampendous. The leaves are Stampin'Up. I stamped it with Memmento ink and I colored it with chalks.
Thank for looking.

OLW - 60 Quick layers of ink.
This week's OLW challenge http://simplicity/ is to make quick and easy cards with nothing but layers of ink by overlapping the stamped images and/or sentiment. The idea here is to practice whipping up a quick card or even an easy card set at the last minute with just ink and cardstock!
This was not as easy as it sounded. I did struggle again this week. I am not thrilled with my card. However I am pushed for time so this is what I have. All stamps, ink and card stock is Stampin'up. Hopefully I will be more cretive next time. Thanks for looking.

OWL-59 Daffodils
OLW59 is an inspiration challenge based on this photo.( http://simplicitybylateblossom.blogspot.com/ )
This is a hard challege for me. I like to be told what to do and not interpret other people's ideas. Anyway here is my attempt. I used Stampin"Up and Stamps by Judith and colored with watercolor pencils and inkpad for the pot. Border punch is by Stampin'Up.

Bleaching Flowers
I had a class this week and we were playing with bleach. It is an easy technique which I often forget about. Anyway my customers really liked it. This card was made with a Magenta stamp Another stamp that I had to have and it got 'lost' in my supply. I really like it and hope you do too. The card stock is Stampin'Up and the embossing folder is Quikcutz. The border is EK Success.
Thanks for looking.

Thinking Spring
This card reminded me of spring. I bought the stamp by Memory Box while visiting my friend Carol http://theinkydaisy.blogspot.com/ in Florida. Didn't know what I would do with it but had to have it. You know how that is. Card stock is Stampin'Up. Ribbon from Hobby Lobby. Butterflies are punched from Basic Grey paper using Stamin'Up Embosslit - Butterfly Wings. Embossing powder is from Commotion and I have had it for years. Glad to finally use some of it. I hope you like this card and it will make you think of Spring too.

OLW - 43 Violets
This week's One-Layer Wednesday Challenge is to use SHIMMER, but NOT glitter or bling on your card.
I have had family in town so have not had time to play. As much fun as that was I am now happy to be back in my stamp room. I have come up with this card. I used Twinkling H2Os for the shimmer. Card stock, ink and sentiment by Stampin'Up. Corners cut using a punch from Creative Memories.
Thanks for taking a peek.

Happy Fall

This picture is a little shaded as the bow wouldn't let the card lie flat in the scanner. I liked this card as it is really simple. Cardstock is from Stampin' Up. Words are Stampendous. Ink pad is Big Juicy pad - Spice. The ribbon is from Hobby Lobby. Again I used my nestabilities. I also used the Bow Easy for the bows. It makes bow tieing so easy.
Mushroom

I think mushrooms are so cute. When I saw this one I thought of my Copic Markers...What fun. Sorry I don't remember who made this stamp. It is an acrylic one I bought at a convention. The card stock is by Stampin'Up. I used a cuttlebug folder for the background and of course had to use my neatabilities. I just love them. I highlighted the mushroom with my glitter pen.
