Happy Easter OLW 46

The One-Layer Wednesday challenge is to use an egg or eggs on your one-layer card. How easy is this! If you're not the Easter basket type, use eggs in a nest...or an egg in a cup, an egg and a chicken, an egg-head cartoon, a good egg, whatever. Loved this challenge as I could use my Stick Chick stamp. Just love her in her Easter Bonnet. I colored with Copics and used the glue pen and glitter. However is doesn't show up very well. I have not gotten the hang of taking pictures yet.  I am sure that will come with practice. Grass was a very old Stampin'Up stamp and I used Satampin'Up wasabi ink.

Thanks for peeking.

Birthday wishes

These cards were made for my grandchildren who are growing quickly. I thought they turned out quite nicely. One for a boy and one for a girls. ( in different families of course). The stampset is one from Archivers. I think it is made especially for Archivers but I don't know who by. It has a very big Happy Birthday stamp which attracted me to the set. I used that on the inside. The paper is Stampin'Up. Embossed dots are a Quikcuts embossing folder, Ribbon from my stash. Colored with copics and Stampin'UP markers.
Hope you like it. Thanks for looking.

Ribbon Egg

Last night I went to my 'girl's' stamping and fun night. One of the girls, Beth Smith, had us make this card which I thought was very cute. We used sparkly pale green base and white card stock on top. The egg was cut with the egg nesties which I may have to have. Ribbon was from her stash and a great way to use it. Sorry I don't know who the sentiment is by. Cuttlebug swiss dots embossing folder for the bottom border. Thought I would share. Hope you like it.
Thanks for looking.

Thinking Spring

This card reminded me of spring. I bought the stamp by Memory Box while visiting my friend Carol http://theinkydaisy.blogspot.com/ in Florida. Didn't know what I would do with it but had to have it. You know how that is. Card stock is Stampin'Up. Ribbon from Hobby Lobby. Butterflies are punched from Basic Grey paper using Stamin'Up Embosslit - Butterfly Wings. Embossing powder is from Commotion and I have had it for years. Glad to finally use some of it. I hope you like this card and it will make you think of Spring too.
Thanks for peeking

OLW - 43 Violets

This week's One-Layer Wednesday Challenge is to use SHIMMER, but NOT glitter or bling on your card.
I have had family in town so have not had time to play. As much fun as that was I am now happy to be back in my stamp room. I have come up with this card. I used Twinkling H2Os for the shimmer. Card stock, ink and sentiment by Stampin'Up. Corners cut using a punch from Creative Memories.
Thanks for taking a peek.
