Winter in July -OLW-62

This week's One-Layer Wednesday Challenge http://simplicitybylateblossom/  is to Make It Personal. In other words, make a card for a particular person that is custom designed for him or her.
So here is my card. My husband and 2 sons are awesome skiers. So this card will be for one of them. Living in Colorado we can still see snow on the mountains even although the temperature has been in the high 90s.here at the house.

I tried to mask the skier but it wasn't as easy as I thought. I did it several times and this is the best effort. It was hard to mask the ski poles. Anyway I thought it turned out quite nicely. The skier is by Stamp Your Art, Trees are Hero Arts and the sentiment is Printworks. I also chalked the sky. I am still working on the photography aspect. I will get there some day hopefully.
Thanks for taking a peek. Your comments are welcomed.

  2. Pauline, I read that there is some kind of art medium that you paint over what you want to mask and then it peels off after you stamp. I still haven't found it, but I'm definitely going to look for it. This looks great...your masking was fine...and the card looks good.

  3. I love your card...the masking looks great from here. What a lovely part of the states to live in, must be strange seeing snow caps even in that heat :)
